How to JOIN quilting block swaps Australia

Hello and thank you for visiting. This is a community group for all Australian quilters to join or just follow. Membership is FREE and you are partnered each month and we make each other a 12 inch quilt block based on our preferences which we swap. (12.5 inches raw edge to raw edge) The emphasis of the group is on friendship and sharing. To find out more or register to join email me on quiltingblocks@hotmail.com This purpose of this blog is to chat and showcase blocks and quilts made by members, kind of like a show and tell . Yours in stitching, Sue

Did you know....housekeeping and a POLL

DID YOU KNOW?
Most of you know that we have Face Book like page, but did you know that we also have a Face Book group page.

The group page was created only a couple of months ago, and you need to ask to join it, and then I will accept you. In the group page non bloggers can post up pictures of blocks made and sent just like the bloggers do on this blog.. Or bloggers can too if they want to post on both sites.

So jump on over to FB and search for us and join  in the fun on there.  I try to keep the FB page and FB group as up to date as the blog.

BLOG INVITES
Also, I only send invites to post on the blog to the ladies that ask me to.  As a lot of members are non bloggers its not an automatic invite.  If you are a non blogger I can upload your photos for you onto the blog.  But if you decided to use FB, there is no need to show them on both sites .  If you are a blogger and have not received an invite to post on the blog, let me know and I will send you an invite.

POLL
I have also received a couple of emails from ladies that liked the idea that I did not send you all each others details last month.  The comments were it made you contact each other and confirm everything.  Now I don't mind sending all the details through if you want it to stay that way, so I thought lets have a POLL and you can tell me what you prefer.

I can only put the POLL on the side bar of the blog so please VOTE and I will take this into account before sending out the July partners at the end of this month.

COMMUNICATION AND ONE SIDED SWAPPING
As you know I take a firm stance on non swappers.  If I get a report of a one sided swap, I will email the other party for you, after you have exhausted communication.  (swaps need to be more than 2 weeks late after the swap month has ended).  If I do not get a reply that member is then red flagged and not issued a new swap partner until communication has been restored and their swaps are up to date.  So it is important to let me know if you have a non communicated swap, or a swap that is more than 2 weeks late so I can track this, and save the next partner from having a one sided swap as well. It is equally important to let me know if they do contact you and if they complete their swap so they can be unflagged.

AND LASTLY  WOOOOO HOOOOOO we have 200 followers.  I have only just noticed this.
Time for me to plan a celebrationary give away, so stay tuned for that.
