How to JOIN quilting block swaps Australia
Hello and thank you for visiting. This is a community group for all Australian quilters to join or just follow. Membership is FREE and you are partnered each month and we make each other a 12 inch quilt block based on our preferences which we swap. (12.5 inches raw edge to raw edge) The emphasis of the group is on friendship and sharing. another purple pinwheel .........
This is my beautiful September pinwheel block from Cathy. It arrived a little late because of a 3 week trip from USA. I asked for 1 colour to be purple, but in this block I have 3 purples - just gorgeous - thank you Cathy. (The photo shows as blues, but it really is a series of wonderful purples.)
My October block has reached Anna, who asked for burgundy or red on cream. I chose a batik fabric with spots and lovely small patterns. this is what I made and sent -
Anna said she is very happy with this block, and that my block from her should arrive soon. Thank you Anna.

I love that pinwheel block, I put one in my red, black and white quilt and it just pops when you quilt around it!
