she wished for a Log Cabin with a red centre

 brights one side and creams the other

My October partner Margaret wished for a 

Dresden Plate on black in bright colours...

we did have a bit of a problem with the size as the pattern made it a 

''wee bit bigger'' hahaha

 My November partner Beth wished for a Wild Duck block in

any two colours with a white background...

Block For Cathy Albers

My September partner was Cathy from Canada and seeing she was a newbie this was her first swap... 

and Cathy wished for a

Maple Leaf in reds, browns, orange, green or golds with an off white background...

I love this daisy fabric and thought it the perfect colour for Cathy...

Block For Ann

Annie Mac from Canada wished for a blue and green log cabin

this little baby is winging it's way across the ocean to her now... I just hope the postal strike in Canada is well and truly over before it arrives...

I have 2 partners for June so I best get back to the sewing machine...

Two Aussie Blocks

For January I have two Aussie partners Jane from Queensland and Marie from Victoria... two quick partners

Marie requested a ''wonky log cabin'' in Autumn tones... the pattern was only 6 inches finished so I did four for her to make a 12.5 block

Jane wished for a log cabin as well and we did have a bit of trouble with the sizing but we sorted that out and I do love her colour choices especially the lime addition...

So girls I do hope you like your blocks...

From Tarnyia to Shauna

Well it has been a very long time since I have posted anything on this website.  I thought that I would post my October Swap - Tarnyia made me this most beautiful block that I love...  It is called the Star of Ohio.

Is beautiful and I can't wait to put it in my quilt.
