A Simple Bright Block for Cheryl
My November partner is Cheryl and she is kind enough to ask for 'Any Block' in brights. Hopefully it is not toooo 'bright' for her. I had the opportunity to swap with her in the 6inch Block Swaps a little while ago. Thanks Cheryl for being my partner again.

November block for Helen
I am off to an early start and have made my November partner Helen her block. Helen requested any star in blues so I used a favourite star pattern of mine. I have a lot of blue in my stash so this was easy. The blue floral is one of my favourites, but its almost all used up now - but I know it off to a good home

Happy Block From Melody
Melody was my swap partner this month and she made this bright and happy block for me. I just love the little bug print. This block will work up so well into a child's quilt. She also included a couple little extras - a scissor fob and some darling animals ready to stitch. Thank you so very much, Melody!!
Hugs,
Linda G

October Swap
This is the beautiful Framed Scraps block I received from Helen - the colours are just perfect. Love the flamingo in one scrap square - flamingos were used for croquet in Alice in Wonderland, and I have played croquet for 18 years.
Helen asked for blue stars - I couldn't stop at one - one dark and one light.
morning star
shooting star
Thank you for being my partner in this event Helen. I hope these stars fit into your project.

Robyn Roberts, my September partner got her block and I got mine today! Here are the pictures.
My block to her. I designed the tea pot looking at one I had at home. It is all appliqué.
This is Robyn's block to me. Perfect with my other blocks. And I was lucky to get some fabric and a lovely needle card. Happy day!!

Sept block(s) to larissa
These are the blocks that I sent to Larissa for Sept. She has received them so I can show and tell. Larissa asked for either a Dresden Plate, Log cabin or pinwheels in bright colours. I have never done a Dresden plate so decided I'd do that but it went together so easily and quickly that I decided to do a Log cabin in the same colours and send both.

Spool Block from Tanya Simmons
Firstly, a Big WELCOME to Tanya of Queensland and I am honoured to be her 1st swap partner. Got this amazing Spool Block, hand stitched beautifully as her Sewing machine was 'out of action' . A common delima for most of us, I'm sure. Thank you Tanya for doing such great work.
As for her block, she has requested for Log Cabin in pastel pinks, greens , blues and violets. So, Tanya, hope I have not disappointed you as your 1st partner.

Cates star
I have just arrived home from a couple of relaxing days away to find a lovely squishy parcel in the mail.
My partner for September was Cate and she has made me this stunning red and white star and included some lovely goodies with the block.
First there is some extra red fabric - gorgeous, and then there is this super cute book mark made with selvidge strips (fantastic idea) - will have to copy this idea for little gifts. And lastly it all came in a little gift bag made out of the pages of a quilting magazine - how clever.
