Hello and thank you for visiting. This is a community group for all Australian quilters to join or just follow. Membership is FREE and you are partnered each month and we make each other a 12 inch quilt block based on our preferences which we swap. (12.5 inches raw edge to raw edge) The emphasis of the group is on friendship and sharing. To find out more or register to join email me on quiltingblocks@hotmail.com This purpose of this blog is to chat and showcase blocks and quilts made by members, kind of like a show and tell . April blocks from Sue P.
Sue P. stitched 2 blocks for me - a Scrapbagger and a Goose Creek quilt block - in my requested colours of "scrappy" and "ugly" fabrics. I had to chuckle at Sue's note that stated "..these are two of the most unattractive blocks I've ever made!"... LOL, Sue they are just perfect, you "nailed the brief". Thank you so much, Kerry B.

Lol, Sorry Sue but I must agree, most unattractive but no doubt perfectly sewn :-)
Well done on on making perfect blocks for Kerry
Hehehe, I'm glad its not just me who thought they were unattractive (although at home I think I called them hideous!) but glad also that Kerry likes them!
