Hello and thank you for visiting. This is a community group for all Australian quilters to join or just follow. Membership is FREE and you are partnered each month and we make each other a 12 inch quilt block based on our preferences which we swap. (12.5 inches raw edge to raw edge) The emphasis of the group is on friendship and sharing. July ................

My July partner is Kelly who asked for Ohio Star, in pinks. I made a block in 2 fabrics, and had to make another, this time using 4 fabrics. It is wonderful, the different look achieved by a different arrangement of fabrics or colours. These are the blocks I made and sent -

and this is the gorgeous pinwheel Kelly sent to me.

I think I'll have to change my selection next month - my collection of pinwheel blocks will make a beautiful quilt with a purple theme. There is some purple in each block, sometimes a little, often lots - and they are all stunning.
