Membership is FREE and you are partnered each month and we make each other a 12 inch quilt block based on our preferences which we swap. (12.5 inches raw edge to raw edge) The emphasis of the group is on friendship and sharing. I have just arrived home from a couple of relaxing days away to find a lovely squishy parcel in the mail.

My partner for September was Cate and she has made me this stunning red and white star and included some lovely goodies with the block.

First there is some extra red fabric - gorgeous, and then there is this super cute book mark made with selvidge strips (fantastic idea) - will have to copy this idea for little gifts. And lastly it all came in a little gift bag made out of the pages of a quilting magazine - how clever.
